These are the latest statistics from the Planning Inspectorate with regards to the time it is taking them to determine different types of planning appeals.

A search of previous figures (October 2017 and February 2018) highlights the fact that the time taken to determine written representation appeals has increased from 20 weeks in October to 24 weeks in both February and March.

Householder appeals are also taking longer to consider than they did in October, increasing from 13 weeks to 17 weeks in February.  The March statistics show a slight improvement, however 15 weeks is still a long time and much longer than the 8 weeks the Local Planning Authority has to determine the original application.
